Kudos to Michael Moore

For caring when nobody in the White House does...
For pointing out the flaws in our healthcare system...
For bashing the media about their twisted priorities in reporting what...
For slapping Bush (again) in the face...

For SICKO...

Okay, so I was never a fan of Moore. I saw Fahrenheit 9/11, I never really liked it. It's pretty much my husband who drags me along to watch his movies. I am not a fan. But I admire him as a filmmaker for doing nobody else can - make politicians and BIG people pee on their pants.
Pee on their pants because for this people, image is eveything. Image is $$money$$. And of course, to their books, money is everything. They have to protect their money! And here comes Mr. Moore, with his documentaries, shooting them with facts, facts that confirm how corrupt they are or their systems are. And what's more, it's all for America and the entire world to see!!!

Now, how in the hell are these Al Qaeda terrorists got our healthcare dream, when the people who volunteered in the 9/11 attacks are suffering from life-threatening illnesses and not properly taken care of? Does that make sense to you? It doesn't to me. What I see is the hypocrisy and crooked system that we have. We should just execute those terrorists and have it over with, as far as I am concerned. But that's what you get for making me angry! But, why not build those healthcare facilities in America? Why not in America and have it for free? Charge us for taxes, Goddamnit! Guantanamo Bay, they said is within the american soil. My Ass! As long as there's CUBA attached to it, it's still in fucking Fidel Castro's property. STILL IN CUBA. NOT AMERICA.

The way I see it, as Sanjay Gupta explained (he was very pale, btw) when he was arguing with Michael Moore on CNN, Brits pay very high taxes so their healthcare there is not free. But Sanjay, it is not the same! That would be the best thing to do, anyway. Health is very important in people's lives. If you are just getting by today and get sick tomorrow, you're screwed! It would be so nice to just work and pay and then when you get sick, just check yourself in and you don't even have to worry anymore.

You are arguing with Michael Moore about these stupid rankings and numbers, who gives a shit? Everybody saw what I saw - POOR AMERICAN SYSTEM. You just felt you have to defend yourself and the system because you work for CNN and AMERICAN PEOPLE. But you know in your deepest heart, THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG. You are not stupid! You deal with this everyday, probably, if you work a lot as you claimed. We all know something has to be done. And please...spare us the numbers and shit. We're through with them!

As I said, KUDOS TO MICHAEL MOORE! We need more people like you.

The world...take two!

Last July 1st, I decided to get myself a pair of eyeglasses. Everything's been very blurry and I couldn't take anymore. It's too much. I knew I needed to see the world with new set of eyes if I wanna live life to the fullest.

And boy, I am glad! And dismayed! I am so torn between these two feelings. Now, I can see clearly. It's like being reborn or everything is in HDTV! I never appreciated all these colors we have until after I had my glasses! Isn't that crazy? I've lived 26 years in this earth and I'm just starting to appreciate these little things - how green grasses are, how bright is the sun , how dull my world was before seeing perfectly.

So see, all's good. I'm getting the benefits of having them on. But man, how I hate there weight on the bridge of my nose! They are pain! And I need to constantly clean it so I can see good with any obstructions. So, WTF?

I guess, life naturally sucks, you can't take them all. You gotta get the good with the fucking bad! I was thinking about getting contacts but, that's double painful in the ass. I don't want that. Maybe I'll have lasik eye surgery sometime. I don't know. But for now, I guess, I have to deal with this plastic crap hanging over my nose.
